January – Happy New Year Feburary – Blind Blue and the Tex Dunright Band live at the Palace Arts Center March – To be announced April – Grapevine Entertainment Jazz Appreciation Month Grapevine JAM at the Palace Arts Center – schedule will be posted in March. New Vintage Wine Experience, celebrates the release of the new Texas vintages, includes the blessing of the vines. May – Main Street Days, join Tex Dunright as he celebrates Grapevine, Texas’ history at one of the largest heritage festivals in Texas, Tex celebrates Grapevines’ heritage in shows designed for families and as he joins The Main Street Stories Puppets as they entertainment young children with fun educational children’s shows that celebrate our history. June – To be announced July – Join Tex as he celebrates our country’s independence with special shows featuring music from the diverse groups that make up America, the city of Grapevine and the state of Texas. August – Summer Vacation September – Grapefest, recognized as one of the best festivals in America, always the second weekend in September, Fine Wine, Great Food, Great Music and fun times! Grapefest is one of the largest wine festivals in America, and the oldest and largest wine festival in Texas. At Grapefest , join Tex at the Tex Dunright Show, featuring Blind Blue and theTex Dunright Band performing Thursday, Sept. 12th 2-3pm and 4-5pm, Saturday, September 14th 12-1pm and 2-3pm and Sunday September 15th 12-1pm and 2-3pm Little Puffy the Steam Engine also appears as these festivals. October – Butterfly Flutterby, third Saturday in October, is Grapevine’s special event celebrating the migration of the Monarch Butterfly from Canada through Texas to Mexico. Join Tex Dunright, Little Puffy the Steam Engine and the Main Street Stories™ as they celebrate the colors and pageantry of the Monarch Butterfly with skits and music to entertain the entire family. November – Tex Dunright, Little Puffy the Steam Engine and the Main Street Stories Puppets celebrate the history of the farmer and harvest time. Utilizing Grapevine’s Historic Nash Farm as its inspiration they celebrate this important part of our history with skits and songs. December – Carol of Lights/Parade of Lights, Join Tex Dunright, Little Puffy the Steam Engine in the celebration of the lighting of Grapevines’ Historic downtown. The parade of light is an old-fashioned nighttime Christmas parade with over 100 floats and bands and of course yours truly Mr. Tex Dunright. Grapevine’s Whistle Stop Christmas, a nostalgic festival of holidays past, including a visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus weekends in early December.
